Click and drag is the way to select parts of the screen by using a mouse. However, it is necessary to select more precisely, for instance, selecting whole words. Using a little mouse trick, selecting a word is easier and faster. Instead of click and drag, use double-click and drag. You can select the whole word that you double-clicked and the last word where your mouse stopped.
